What’s On This Week: Our First Open Competition

Thursday 29 October | 7:30–9:30pm | Otley Common

This week sees our first competition of the season at Otley Camera Club, and it’s an Open Competition.

With both print and digital categories, we’re looking forward to seeing the variety of images our members have chosen to share.

Open competitions are always interesting because there are no set themes, so we get to see a real mix of subjects, styles and approaches to photography.

Now that we’ve moved to our new premises, we’re particularly excited to make the most of the space by displaying our prints in a full exhibition-style layout. Members will be able to view the prints before the competition begins and enjoy them throughout the evening.

We’re delighted to welcome Nigel Plant back to the club to judge the entries. Competitions are a great opportunity to celebrate our members’ photography, enjoy each other’s work and receive feedback that can help us develop our skills.

Good luck to everyone entering! We’re looking forward to seeing the images and hearing Nigel’s thoughts.

We meet at Otley Common from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Visitors are always welcome, so if you enjoy photography and would like to find out more about the club, come along and join us.
