Otley Camera Club Supports Wildlife Friendly Otley Arts Festival

Otley Camera Club was delighted to support another local community event this weekend, exhibiting a selection of our members’ excellent wildlife photographs as part of the Otley Wildlife Arts Festival 2026.

Organised by Wildlife Friendly Otley, the festival celebrates the natural world through art, music, poetry, talks, books, exhibitions, film and photography. It brings people together to appreciate the wildlife around us and highlights the importance of protecting the natural environment.

Wildlife Friendly Otley is a local volunteer-run charity dedicated to helping Otley become a more wildlife-friendly place by protecting and enhancing habitats and encouraging people to take action for nature.

Our members were proud to contribute to the festival by sharing their wildlife photography, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the wildlife that surrounds us. Photography is a wonderful way to encourage people to look more closely at the natural world and appreciate the species and habitats we can sometimes take for granted.

Supporting local organisations and community events is an important part of what we do at Otley Camera Club. Whether we’re photographing local events, sharing our work at exhibitions or helping people discover photography, we’re always keen to play our part in the community.

A big thank you to Wildlife Friendly Otley for organising the festival and giving us the opportunity to be involved.
