Meet the Members: Keira Thorogood

Next up in our Meet the Members series is the talented Keira Thorogood. Keira is about to embark on her 10th season with the club, making her one of our most experienced and dedicated members.

A passionate and versatile photographer, Keira has explored a wide range of photographic styles — always with spectacular results. From landscapes to portraits, street to abstract, she embraces every challenge with creativity and skill. But it’s in nature photography that her heart truly lies.

Keira was named our Photographer of the Year three years in a row from 2019 to 2021 — a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about her talent and consistency.

She has kindly shared with us her ten favourite nature images, and we’re sure you’ll agree they are absolutely stunning.

Fresh from a photography trip to Iceland with three fellow members, Keira has also just organised a fantastic weekend away to the Farne Islands, giving members the chance to photograph puffins and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
