Otley Common

Programme Reveal

Photo Of The Year
📸 Last night, we judged our 'Photo of the Year'! 🏆 Our members viewed the top 3 images from the year and discussed them in small groups. Then came the tough part: voting for their top 3 faves. The votes were counted and the winner emerged. Out of 42 images, 23 received votes, showcasing the amazing quality of all entries. However, with a clear lead of 4 points, Paul Buckley's stunning 'Passing Time' took the crown. Congrats, Paul! 👏🎉

A Day at Croft Foot Farm with Award-Winning Photographer Amy Bateman
Last week, ten of our members had an unforgettable day at Croft Foot Farm, home to the renowned photographer Amy Bateman. What's On? 23rd May
Our penultimate night of the season sees our members deciding which image takes the title ‘Photo of the Year’. We will be looking back at all the images that placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the competitions over the season and then, after some discussion in small groups, voting on our favourites. Scapes and Photographer of the Year Results
Thursday night was the results night for our final competition of the year, Scapes'. It was judged by Peter Wells who did an excellent job selecting the winners and also giving positive and constructive feedback on all the images entered. What's On 9th May?
On Thursday we are very excited to be joined by Tom Marsh (the flat capped photographer) for our final speaker of the season. He will be delivering his talk titled 'The Power of Photography'. He will be discussing how when we first pick up a camera our main aim is usually to master the settings and how to effectively compose a photograph.
