Last night we held one of the highlights of the Otley Camera Club calendar — our annual Photo of the Year competition. Throughout the evening, members revisited the images that had received awards in competitions over the course of the season. Everyone then selected their three favourite images, with the scores revealed Eurovision Song Contest style. Today marked the opening of the Yorkshire Photographic Union Annual Exhibition, one of the region’s most prestigious photographic exhibitions. The exhibition is open to all 63 camera clubs across Yorkshire, with photographers collectively submitting over 4,000 prints and digital images across a wide range of categories. From these entries, only around 200 mounted prints and 250 projected digital images are selected for exhibition, making acceptance a significant achievement d
