Out and About: A Creative Day at Tank Space

A group of Otley Camera Club members recently enjoyed an exciting and highly creative visit to Tank Space, a unique studio that features both a rain studio and an underwater tank.

These two very different setups provided fantastic opportunities for experimentation and creativity. During the session we were able to photograph three excellent models, working across both environments to create a wide variety of striking images.

The models were fantastic throughout the day — not only bringing our creative ideas to life but also contributing their own suggestions and energy to the shoot, which helped make the session even more productive and enjoyable.

The day was led by Halo, who was absolutely superb. Halo provided guidance on camera settings, lighting, and directing the models, ensuring everyone was able to get the most from the experience. To round off the day, Halo even stepped in front of the camera and modelled for us as well.

It was a brilliant opportunity for members to try something a little different, develop their skills and enjoy photographing in a unique studio environment.

A huge thank you to Tank Space for hosting us and helping make the day such a success. It’s safe to say we had a fantastic time — and we’ll definitely be returning in the future.
