We are delighted to share that Otley Camera Club has raised and donated £250 to the MS Society.
This fantastic total was made possible through a combination of contributions, including donations from the Otley Christmas Tree Festival, members’ generosity on the evening of Stan Farrow’s talk, and an additional donation from the club itself.
We would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed — your support has helped us make a meaningful donation to a very worthwhile cause.
Following the donation, we received a kind message from Stan Farrow, expressing his appreciation and highlighting the importance of the MS Society’s work. Multiple Sclerosis affects over 100,000 people in the UK, and the charity plays a vital role in both supporting those living with the condition and funding research into its causes and treatment.
It is incredibly rewarding to know that, as a club, we can come together not only to share our passion for photography but also to support important causes within the wider community.
Following the success of this year, we are pleased to confirm that we plan to continue with an annual charity focus in future.
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
