Otley welcomes the Tour
On Saturday 5th July 2014 Otley welcomed the Tour de France. It was a magical day for the townsfolk and the wider cycling community who packed the route in their thousands.
A long term friend of the camera club, Mark Currie, Catapult Films made a film about the day and the Camera Club produced a slide show of members images. These were showcased at two sellout events at the Courthouse and was followed up with a souvenir photobook and DVD produced by Otley Town Council.

Our deputy chairman, Andrew Hoyle, was one of the photographers and videographers and recalls a very long but unforgettable day starting at 3:15 am and finishing through exhaustion at around 6:30 pm.
This was the start of the Camera Club's involvment in Otley and surrounding community events recording memories for everyone to enjoy both now and in the future.
