Portrait, People & Figure Studies – Final Competition of the Season

We brought this season’s competitions to a close with our Portrait, People & Figure Studies competition, expertly judged by Erica Oram.

The evening showcased a wide variety of images, from striking portraits to creative interpretations of the theme. As always, the standard was very high, reflecting the effort and creativity of our members. Erica provided thoughtful and constructive feedback on the entries, making the evening both informative and enjoyable.

A huge well done to everyone who entered, and congratulations to all those who achieved placings.

Looking back over the season as a whole, it’s particularly encouraging to see that 27 different members achieved placings across the competitions — a fantastic reflection of the strength and depth of photography within the club.

We would also like to give a special mention to Oscar Waring, one of our junior members, who achieved his first placing this season. A very well-deserved result and a great milestone in his photographic journey.

It has been another excellent year of competitions, with members continuing to challenge themselves, improve their work, and support each other along the way.
