Facebook Photo of the Month Winner – Chris Burgess

We’re delighted to announce that Chris Burgess is the winner of our Facebook Group Photo of the Month for April with his touching monochrome image of a lamb being hand reared.

The image was selected by last month’s winner, Charles Jenkins, who commented:

“I thought it gives a very real insight into the caring and compassionate side of rural life.”

Charles also noted how difficult the judging was this month, with many excellent images entered, but felt that Chris’ photograph perfectly captured the spirit of April.

The image’s quiet, natural moment and thoughtful composition create a strong emotional connection, highlighting a side of rural life that is both authentic and heartfelt.

As always, our Facebook Photo of the Month competition is a fun and informal challenge exclusively for club members. Each month’s winner becomes the judge for the following month — and also receives the club’s traditional prize of a bar of chocolate!
