Success Beyond the Club for Otley Camera Club Members

At Otley Camera Club, we love celebrating our members' achievements, especially when their photography is recognised in competitions and exhibitions beyond the club. Over the last couple of months, several of our members have enjoyed some fantastic success.

Our Competition Secretary, Danni Burgess, has enjoyed an outstanding run of results.

All three of her entries to the RSPB Saltholme Wildlife Photography Competition were selected as winners and will now be displayed in the entrance hub at the reserve for visitors to enjoy.

Danni also had further success when two of her photographs were selected as runners-up in the Kirkstall Art Trail, another wonderful recognition of her photographic talent.

Not to be outdone by his wife, our Chair Chris Burgess has also received recognition for his photography.

Chris was featured in Yorkshire Life magazine after being selected as a winner in the Rivers4Life Exhibition at the Dales Countryside Museum, a fantastic achievement and a great showcase for his work.

We're equally delighted to celebrate the success of one of our youngest members.

Oscar's striking photograph of a badger, taken during one of our Otley Camera Club weekends away, was selected as a winner in the Ilkley Young Photographer Competition and displayed as part of the exhibition.

It's particularly rewarding to see our junior members developing their photography and achieving success in external competitions.

Congratulations once again to Danni, Chris and Oscar. Your achievements are thoroughly deserved and are a testament to the talent, enthusiasm and dedication that exists throughout Otley Camera Club. We look forward to celebrating many more successes from our members in the months ahead.
