PAGB Interclub PDI Championship

On Sunday, our club participated in the PAGB Interclub PDI Championship. After a couple of rounds, the top-scoring clubs advanced to the final, while the others competed for the plate. We entered the plate round and finished joint 23rd.
At first glance, this may not seem remarkable, but considering the bigger picture, it is quite an achievement. Approximately 900 clubs are affiliated with the PAGB, and only 37 were selected to represent their counties in this competition. For Otley Camera Club to be among them is a significant accomplishment.
A big thank you to Chris, Claire, and Max for traveling to Warwick to support Les and the club, and a special thanks to Les for orchestrating everything. Les's dedication as our competition secretary—encouraging and assisting everyone, and managing the numerous tasks required for our participation in the YPU exhibition and interclub competitions—made our presence this weekend possible.
