Competition Results: Open

Last night marked the start of our competition season at Otley Camera Club, with the Open Competition.

Over the past few years, our membership has grown dramatically — and that was reflected in the number of entries this time around - it must have been a record! Our judge, Giles Rocholl, had the challenging task of reviewing 105 images across both Print and Projected Digital Image (PDI) categories. The overall standard was superb, making his decisions even more difficult!

Giles rose to the challenge brilliantly, offering constructive feedback, valuable advice, and plenty of engaging commentary throughout the evening. His insight and enthusiasm made the session both entertaining and educational.

A big well done to everyone who entered, and huge congratulations to those who placed or received commendations. It was a wonderful start to what promises to be another exciting season of friendly competition and shared learning at the club.
