A Fantastic Start to the New Season

Last night we kicked off our new season, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces returning as well as lots of new members joining us for the first time. The room was full of energy, conversation, and, of course, plenty of inspiring photography. It was a great reminder of what makes our club such a friendly and creative community.

We’re also excited that next week is our first speaker of the season: Harrogate-based photographer Helen Williams. Helen began her photographic journey as a photojournalist back in 1998, before spending eight years as ITV’s in-house photographer. During that time, she worked on some of the UK’s most popular shows, including Emmerdale, Heartbeat, and A Touch of Frost. Next week, she’ll be sharing insights from her career and experiences behind the camera, offering a fascinating perspective on both the craft and the industry.

It promises to be an inspiring evening, and we hope you’ll join us to give Helen a warm welcome.
