Nature Competition Night – A Spectacular Evening of Images

On Thursday evening, Otley Camera Club welcomed Colin Williams to judge our much-anticipated Nature Competition. As always, this competition is one of the most hotly contested of the season — and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

With nearly 100 images entered, Colin had a substantial task ahead of him. Despite this, he took the time to give thoughtful, positive and constructive feedback on every image. His insights were both educational and encouraging, and his relaxed style ensured there were plenty of laughs throughout the evening.

The standard of entries was exceptionally high, with many truly spectacular nature images on display. Choosing winners was clearly no easy task, but Colin somehow managed to narrow it down and select the final placings.

A huge well done to everyone who entered, and a massive congratulations to all those who placed. A special mention must go to Danni, who only joined the club last year and achieved the remarkable feat of having all four of her prints placed — an outstanding achievement and a testament to her talent and dedication.

It was a brilliant evening and a fantastic celebration of the quality and creativity within the club.
