Meet the Members: Paul Buckley

In this edition of our Meet the Members series, we’re shining a spotlight on one of Otley Camera Club’s most talented travel photographers — Paul Buckley.

Paul is an adventurous spirit with a camera always at the ready. His work takes us around the world through striking images that capture not just places, but the atmosphere, the culture, and most importantly, the people. His portraits are particularly powerful, offering intimate glimpses into the lives of those he meets along the way. Whether it’s a bustling street scene or a quiet moment in a remote village, Paul has an incredible ability to notice and capture the small details that many would overlook.

We will miss Paul at the club but if you follow him on Instagram, you’ll likely spot the clues that he’s off exploring again. His stunning photos have a way of transporting us right alongside him, even from our own homes.

We’re also proud to share that Paul recently claimed Otley Camera Club’s Photo of the Year award — for the second year running! It's a well-deserved recognition of both his skill and his dedication to the craft.
