Meet the Members: Kay Roxby

We’re delighted to introduce the next photographer in our Meet the Members series: Kay Roxby.

Kay first contacted us last year after relocating to the area. Already an active member of another camera club, she was looking to find a new photography community locally—and we were thrilled that she wanted to try out our club.

Before she even stepped through the door, a quick look at her Instagram confirmed what we’d suspected from her message: Kay is an incredibly talented photographer with a fantastic eye for composition and mood. From the start, we could tell she’d bring something special to the group.

We were doubly pleased when Kay decided to join us permanently. Not only do we now have the pleasure of seeing her beautiful work on a regular basis, but she’s also become an active and generous member of the club. She kindly agreed to mentor one of our newer members and is always enthusiastic about joining our outings and club events.

Kay’s creative spirit and willingness to share her knowledge are exactly what we value in our club culture. Whether it’s through her thoughtful critique, supportive presence, or simply her inspiring photography, she has quickly become a much-loved part of the group.

We’re proud to have Kay with us and can’t wait to see what she captures next!
