What a fantastic evening we had last night at Otley Camera Club!
Our member Danni Burgess shared her short but spectacular photographic journey — an inspiring look at how passion and dedication can lead to rapid growth and creativity in just a short time. Then David Baron took us on an unforgettable visual adventure, recounting his experiences photographing a research expedition in the Himalayas. Both talks offered insight, inspiration, and plenty of stunning images.
Next week, we switch gears and head back to monochrome. 🖤
After two excellent tutorial sessions on black and white photography, it’s time for our Monochrome Q&A Evening — an open session where members can ask any and every question they’ve ever had about shooting or editing in monochrome. Whether it’s about lighting, contrast, tonal range, or post-processing techniques, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from one another and share creative tips.
We’re looking forward to another great evening of discussion, discovery, and photographic passion!
