📸 Photo of the Month - August

And the winner is… Claire Wilson-Sharp! 🎉📸

A huge congratulations to Claire, whose fantastic damselfly photograph has been chosen as this month's Photo of the Month by Emily Waring.

Photo of the Month is a fun little competition we run for members through our Facebook group, giving everyone the chance to share a photograph each month and see what our members think. It's all about getting involved, sharing our photography and enjoying a bit of friendly competition!

As always, there was a lovely selection of photographs to choose from, making it a difficult decision. Emily was particularly drawn to Claire's image:

“I loved the clarity and bright colours captured in Claire's photo and the sense that the viewer really could be seen by the damselfly. The element of symmetry really added to the appeal to make a lovely composition.”

We can certainly see why! The incredible detail in the damselfly's eyes, the vibrant colours and that wonderfully symmetrical composition make for a striking image.

Congratulations Claire – very well deserved! 👏
