We enjoyed another excellent competition evening at Otley Camera Club, with Monty Trent joining us as our guest judge.
The competition featured two categories:
Print: Macro
Projected Digital Images (PDI): Sports, Photojournalism & Action
As expected, the standard of entries was high, with a wide variety of subjects, styles and creative approaches on show. Monty worked his way through the images with great care, offering thoughtful, constructive advice on every entry. His feedback was not only informative and helpful, but also delivered with plenty of good humour, making for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Competition nights are always a valuable learning opportunity for our members, and Monty’s clear explanations and practical suggestions gave everyone plenty to take away and apply to their future work.
A big thank you to Monty for an entertaining and insightful evening, and a huge well done to everyone who entered. Congratulations to those who placed.
