Behind the Scenes with Guiseley Theatrical Productions
Last weekend, some of our Otley Camera Club members were delighted to support Guiseley Theatrical Productions once again, taking cast photographs for their upcoming production of The Addams Family.
These photoshoots have become a lovely opportunity for our club to support local organisations while giving our members valuable experience and the chance to put their photography skills into practice.
Working with a theatre cast is a great way to develop portrait photography skills, from capturing individual expressions and personalities to helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. And, as anyone who has taken part will know, there is always plenty of laughter along the way!
We’re looking forward to returning later this week to photograph the dress rehearsal. This will give us a sneak peek behind the scenes and the opportunity to capture the cast bringing this wonderfully quirky production to life.
We can’t wait to see the finished show!
The cast photographs from our recent photoshoot are now available to view below. We’ll share some of our performance photographs as soon as we can, so keep an eye on our website and social media.
Activities like this are an important part of what Otley Camera Club does beyond our regular Thursday meetings. They allow our members to gain experience, work together and share their enthusiasm for photography, while helping local groups promote their work.
A big thank you to Guiseley Theatrical Productions for inviting us back. We always enjoy working with the team and are delighted to play a small part in bringing their productions to the wider community.
