Landscape Photography Amble Northumberland
In this video, I show that you don’t need an epic subject to create a gorgeous image. It was filmed in Amble, Northumberland. Earlier this week, I headed off on a mini road trip to the North East of England. My first stop was the small seaside town of Amble in Northumberland. I’d never been there before, and I have to say, I completely fell in love with the place. The stunning sunrise definitely helped, but it also proved an important point: you don’t need somewhere “epic” to create beautiful photographs. If a location has charm and good light, you’re already in the right ballpark. FINE ART My Toughest Challenge Yet! The Old Boat Wreck
In this video, I take on the challenge of creating a Fine Art landscape masterpiece from an otherwise uninspiring subject, and in terrible conditions. This turned out to be my toughest challenge yet! A few days ago, I set out to photograph a little-known UK boat wreck, hoping to capture it in my signature Fine Art style. But from the start, everything was against me. The weather offered no help: the light was poor, the high tide was unusually low, and the sky was bright and completely cloudless. And that was just day one. Ireland Landscape Photography - SUNSET, SUNRISE & STORMY SKIES!
In this video, I set out to capture beautiful landscape and fine art images of the Republic of Ireland during stormy conditions. A few weeks ago, I embarked on my first-ever road trip to Ireland, focusing mainly on the Waterford area in the south. And just to be accurate, the Republic of Ireland, as I was politely corrected several times by the locals! 😁😁 THE VIDEO I filmed a huge amount of footage, visited lots of incredible locations, and created so many images that it became difficult to weave everything into a single coherent story. In the end, I realised it was easier to combine everything into one film. That’s why you’ll see multiple shots of the same locations taken at different times of day, sorry if it feels a bit all over the place! I also want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the Waterford Camera Club for making my first photography trip to your beautiful country so memorable for both me and my wife.
