Competitions

 

Competitions are an important and enjoyable part of club life at Otley Camera Club. They provide an opportunity for members to share their work, gain constructive feedback and see the wide variety of photography produced within the club.

Entering competitions is encouraged for photographers of all experience levels. Whether you are completely new to competitions or have entered many before, they are a great way to challenge yourself, develop your skills and learn from both the judges’ comments and other members’ images.

Constructive feedback from experienced judges can often provide valuable ideas for improving your photography and trying new approaches.

HOW TO ENTER COMPETITIONS

 

You will need to use this website to enter your images for both print and PDI competitions. If you do not yet have a password, please contact the Competition Secretary at otleycameraclubcomp@gmail.com.

The document below provides detailed instructions on how to enter your images. This is also explained in the video below, which includes a demonstration of how to use the Success software. Note a new handbook with all the competition definitions and much more will be appearing soon.​​​
