Ten x Ten x Ten
Last week we were privileged to listen to our own camera club members discussing their photographic journeys. The theme of the evening: 10 members to talk for 10 minutes about 10 of their images, or any images that have inspired them.
AND what a success this evening was - we heard from long-standing members and new members alike. It was brilliant to hear from Nicola Robson, a new member, who due to Covid we have never met in person, alongside established members such as Andy Hoyle and Jerry Marriner.
Everyone took a different slant on the talk; some concentrating on the immediate past and showing lock-down images, with some members delving into their back catalogues, and early pics and what a variety of images we saw. It was really interesting to hear the background and thought behind the images and photos that have inspired people. I for one hope this is an evening that becomes a programme regular. I think it's great to give members the opportunity to show their work to club members.
