New Season Starts at Otley Camera Club
The new season for Otley Camera Club started last Thursday with a Sneak Peak at our planned programme. This includes all the usual good stuff like Speakers, Members nights, Practical Evenings and Competitions. However, this year, Otley are joining in with 10 other clubs for the YPU Interclub Competition for the first time. We are confident we can hold our own against what will be undoubtably fierce competition. We've also started trialing new software for entering our images into competitions which should make life for members and the club competition secretary much easier.
With Zoom receding in importance we have plenty of evenings planned around prints including a Members Night hosted by Andy Hoyle dedicated to prearing images for pringint at home and via photolabs. Zoom isn't totally gone though - we have our first speaker lined up to visit us via Zoom and we'll be running a hybrid system from the club room. Full details are on the website Events section and Harry's talk is open to non-members with tickets available to buy from there.
The 2nd half of the evening was dediciated to our awards ceremony with members placing in last years competions all recieiving certificates and the winners from each competition awarded trophies.
