The Road Less Travelled, Memoirs of a Tick-Box Refusenik

We were privileged to be joined by Monty Trent today who spent the evening showing us his wonderful images.

Since retiring in 2014 Monty has engaged in his passion, photography. He first acquired the 'bug' in his teens but dropped it when the pressures of family life and building his professional and, later, judicial career increased. He came back to photography just before the Millennium in 1998 when his interest was re-kindled by an inspiring teacher at West Dean College. Since then, he rarely has a day without capturing his response to the World around him.

Monty's talk was witty and engaging and his images speak for themselves. We're pleased that Monty will be joining us later in the year to judge one of our competitions.
