Today was an ‘Out and About’ trip to photograph the Seated Man which stands on Castleton Rigg in Westerdale.
The three metre high, painted bronze statue of a Seated Man was created by artist Sean Henry. It was errected in June 2017 and is due to remain in place for five years.
After the half a mile hike to the statue, our members had an enjoyable time photographing the statue and the Westerdale landscape.
Thank you to Diane and Julie for allowing me to use their images in the blog.
